Cooperativa Latte Arborea at the annual Agricultural Fair with the final event of the educational project.
Arborea, 30 April 2025 – Latte Arborea, a cooperative made up of 146 member farms, leader in the Sardinian dairy market and third national player in UHT milk , will participate in the Arborea Agricultural Fair scheduled for Wednesday 30 April.
On the occasion of the event, the final event of the educational project “Il Buon latte nelle scuole” will be held at the Cooperative’s stand, a moment to reflect together on the value of the recently concluded initiative and admire the creativity of the children from the schools who took part.
Born with the aim of promoting nutrition education and good nutritional practices in Sardinia’s primary schools, the “Good Milk in Schools” project saw the collaboration of Arborea, Sed+, and Sprim to organize a series of events in schools across several Sardinian provinces, both in large cities and in more remote towns. Within this framework, several events were held involving more than 1,000 children throughout Sardinia.
Through a series of games featuring the project’s mascot, Arborella, the children learned the secrets to healthy growth through proper nutrition and a healthy lifestyle. In addition to the educational sessions, the program was enriched by the distribution of a free kit containing Arborea products, a backpack, and informational materials to each child. There was also plenty of room for creativity, with a cow template being distributed to each school to color and decorate.
The closing event on April 30th during the Agricultural Fair will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will be an opportunity to celebrate the initiative’s success, consolidate Arborea’s commitment to nutrition education, and thank all the schools that participated. The day’s activities will include a panel discussion where the Latte Arborea team, the President, and the schoolchildren will discuss various aspects of the project. The highlight of the event will be the Arborea Cow Parade: a walkway where visitors can admire the silhouettes decorated by the schoolchildren, immersing themselves in their creative world.
Footage and photos of the event will be shared on the project’s dedicated webpage and on Arborea’s social media channels, ensuring visibility and feedback for all the school groups who took part in the initiative.
